an event we do every year is coming this week. we call it wet n wild wednesday. we rent 2 60′ water slides, a power jump, barbque hamburgers and have a wet n wild time wit hundreds of students…i love this week! this night does cost some dough to put on…but isn’t this why we do what we do? it’s all about the students!
this morning i woke up at 7:19 am kinda an odd time to wake up. well i was right in the middle of this weird dream where i had a dog that was mean (i don’t have a dog), a sound system set up in front of a house i think was mine, but it did not look like somewhere i would choose to live. the house was real narrow and real long, my grandfather was in the dream and some guy that was taking pictures with like 10 cameras gave him a bolo, grandma got knocked in the head by the cameras when he went to help her sit in a family picture. this is where it gets weird. My pastor was in the picture and all these kids sat on him and nearly squashed him, i’m talking teenagers from all kinds of backgrounds. these kids were all in his personal space and it was to say the least weird. and he smiled the whole time! the guy that took the picture gave me a watch that had the strangest blue watchband and the second i looked at the face to see the time i woke up. this is for real…my door bell rings and i get up to check the front door and it’s the trugreen people looking at the yard. who rings your door bell at 7:19 am?
i went back to bed and fell right into that deep sleep again…the dream faded…
dreams…i probably should not have eaten that bowl of cookies and cream ice cream with caramel magic shell on it before bed. gotta love weird dreams!
